The Accounts Payable Aging Report (AP aging) is a listing of all amounts owed to others by the company. The report shows the total accounts payable owed to each supplier as well as how long it has been open (in other words how old the AP is). The report is formatted in columns, usually a column for 30 days, 60 days 90 days and over 90 days allowing the reader to quickly assess the health of the AP. The accounts payable report is usually run in either an accounts payable aging summary format or an accounts payable aging detail format.
