A dedicated account executive is the person from the factoring company that serves as your main point of contact for your day to day accounts receivable needs. This person accepts and reviews your invoices, runs business credit checks for you, handles most of your accounts receivable collection and oversees every aspect of your account. Assigning a dedicated account executive to a factoring client is a standard model of customer service in the factoring industry. Factoring companies will sometimes tout this in their sales material as another benefit of factoring with them but it is actually quite standard. Meeting you dedicated account executive prior to signing a factoring agreement is a good idea because you or your staff will work very closely with this person. You should feel as comfortable with your dedicated account executive as you would with anyone you would hire to handle your accounts receivable in house.
