One of the professional factoring trade associations factoring companies, small business funding companies, purchase order funding companies and commercial banks join is the International Factoring Association. The IFA itself does not provide factoring accounts receivable services, factoring loans, invoice factoring or small business funding. The International Factoring association does have a great deal of influence on all these areas of business finance.
The International Factoring Association offers a central fourm for factoring companies and factoring professionals to communicate and share factoring industry information. The IFA hosts a factoring conference each year that factoring companies love to attend. The International Factoring Association also has a factoring listserve, factoring discussion groups, factoring fraud fourms, factoring training courses, continuing education for factoring professionals, accounts receivable factoring job boards that list factoring jobs open for consideration, a factor search function that helps small businesses find a factor, help with finding a factoring attorney and lobbying to help factoring companies protect their political interests.
